Nikki Starr is an accomplished singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose music blends heartfelt songwriting with polished musicianship. Whether performing an intimate acoustic set or producing a full studio recording, Nikki brings a distinctive style shaped by years of performing alongside some of today’s most respected artists.
Throughout her career, Nikki has shared the stage with nationally recognized acts including Gavin DeGraw, Train, Better Than Ezra, The Black Crowes, The Doobie Brothers, and Pat Benatar. Her performances have taken her from premier festivals and sporting events such as the Daytona 500 and SunFest to legendary venues including the House of Blues, the Whisky a Go Go, and the Disney Amphitheater.
A gifted multi-instrumentalist, Nikki’s musicianship extends far beyond guitar. She is equally at home performing on bass, keyboards, cajón, djembe, and other instruments, allowing her to create recordings with remarkable depth, versatility, and authenticity.
Her original acoustic ballad “Waterfall” earned international recognition as one of the Top 500 Hit Songs in the World in Billboard’s World Song Contest. Demonstrating her talents as a true independent artist, Nikki wrote, arranged, produced, performed, and played every instrument on the recording herself.
Nikki’s reputation as both a performer and recording artist has led to collaborations with some of the industry’s most respected professionals. After hearing her rehearse for a live performance, Grammy Award-winning producer and musician Theron Feemster (Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, Eminem) invited Nikki to record the acoustic guitar track for the Michael Jackson song “Just In Time.” She has also collaborated with Grammy Award-winning mix engineer Bob Horn (Michael Jackson, Usher, LeAnn Rimes, Kelly Clarkson, Timbaland), who worked with Nikki to remaster her songs “Now” and “Sound” for worldwide digital release.
As a songwriter, producer, musician, and vocalist, Nikki has built an impressive catalog of original music, including Faithfully Alive, Electric, Times Are Changing, Now, and Sound. She continues to write, produce, and record new material while expanding a body of work well suited for film, television, advertising, and other media placements.
