SWAGGERMOUTH is the hard-hitting rock project of husband-and-wife duo Jason Ebs and Janea Chadwick Ebs, blending arena-ready guitars, unforgettable hooks, and dual lead vocals into a sound that moves effortlessly between modern hard rock and melodic songwriting. Their music has earned the description “Controlled Chaos” from legendary AC/DC drummer Chris Slade, who co-wrote and performed on much of the band’s debut album, Never Shut Up.
Before forming SWAGGERMOUTH, Jason toured North America as the singer & guitarist for Peter Criss along with Ace Frehley on the Bad Boys of KISS tours, while Janea performed and worked with Joe Cocker and acclaimed producer David Foster. Together, they bring those experiences into a powerful partnership where soaring harmonies meet crushing guitars, creating music that’s both emotionally driven and undeniably energetic.
Written by Jason Ebs, Janea Ebs, and Chris Slade, Never Shut Up was produced, mixed, and mastered by Jason at the band’s Dragon Castle Studios, the former recording home of Imagine Dragons. In addition to sharing lead vocals with Janea, Jason performed the album’s guitars, bass, and much of the drum work as Slade was quarantined in England. The record also features keyboards by Michael T. Ross (Lita Ford/Aldo Nova) and Borgi. Drawing from rock, metal, funk, soul, and jazz influences, SWAGGERMOUTH creates music that’s equal parts powerful, melodic, and uplifting. Whether delivering anthemic rockers or groove-driven tracks, the band writes with authenticity and conviction—letting the music speak louder than the noise. Their songs are built to connect with audiences, ignite live performances, and bring unmistakable energy to film, television, advertising, and other creative media.
